Good news, I have a new camera. It is a Panasonic ZS8 LUMIX.

I haven’t tested it yet but plan to shortly. I’m not sure how it will perform in cold weather. The main purpose of getting this camera was to have something that would take a good video and hopefully be quiet versus my old camera which made noise recording.

As I believe I posted yesterday I haven’t really found anything worth taking videos or taking pictures of yet. But hopefully with within the next month or two I will be able to get some pictures of something exciting. My body hasn’t adjusted to the cold yet, so I’m finding it difficult to go outside and play.

This Panasonic camera is a 14.1 megapixel has 16 times optical zoom with 20 times intelligent zoom. It also takes HD movies. I have yet to go through all the features that this camera has for picture settings.

The camera was around $126.00 but I went the extra and bought a bundle pack which came with an extra battery and a four gig memory card along with a camera case. So my cost was about $198.00.

After purchasing the camera and searched on by little bit I found that I could’ve bought it a little cheaper, but that’s how it usually goes when you buy something and then search online for.
