It’s only March 18, and the weather is unusually warm. Most of the snow has left us. The mild winter we had this year has been a blessing for our deer population. Hopefully the numbers will jump back up and we will have a healthy number of white tails this fall.
Generally, for people who don’t like or can’t enjoy outdoor activities in cold weather. have to wait til end of April or early may to get back outside and get out of the house. This year they can do it now.
Yes, there is still snow in the woods the further north you go, and you can’t hike your favorite mountains or fish your favorite brooks.
But you can get outside and move around. Breath in the fresh air, take a walk around town. (along the road if you live out of town) If you are not afraid of a little mud take a walk in the woods behind your house.
Just remember if you do go out to dress for colder weather, that sun sure feels warm but once it dissapears behind the clouds, the tempature can drop just like that.
So,get out enjoy the weather and good-bye cabin fever!
